The Lobby Gallery at 499 Park Avenue is pleased to present four new works by New York-based painter Mark Sheinkman, beginning May 3, 2021. Known for his monochromatic linear abstractions, the works on view in The Allusive Eloquence of Lines in Space, “offer sumptuous color fields that recall the brooding intensity of Rothko.” The exhibition is accompanied by a brochure and essay by George Melrod and is the eighth show organized at 499 Park Avenue by Jay Grimm Art Advisory.

375 Hudson Street is pleased to present Joyce Kozloff: Mind Mapping in the Lobby Gallery beginning September 9, 2020. A veteran of the Pattern & Decoration movement, Kozloff's mixed-media works explore the intersection of cartography, culture, and history on a global scale. Also evident in this 20-year survey of work is the influence of Kozloff's life-long commitment to feminism, political activism, and the Heresies Collective, a New York-based community of women artists whose extremely influential journal ran from 1977–1993. The exhibition is accompanied by a color brochure featuring an essay by Jenni Sorkin and is produced in partnership with DC Moore Gallery. The exhibition, located in the Hudson Square neighborhood of SoHo, is open to the public Monday–Friday 9AM–5PM.
